Alejandra graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Jessup University and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology also at William Jessup University. She has a passion for working with adolescents, teenagers, adults, and families of diverse backgrounds who have experienced trauma, abuse, loss, significant life changes, anxiety, and depression. Her integrative approach to therapy incorporates various modalities as each individual may respond in different ways. She has been trained in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
Given that life is full of trials and hardships, Alejandra believes that through an authentic connection and providing a safe space where one feels seen, heard, and valued one can be empowered to grow and heal. Alejandra understands that some people are able to overcome their difficulties relatively quickly, while others may struggle through the healing process. Her goal is to come alongside people to help them discover their gifts and strengths, while honoring their experiences and creating positive life changes.
In her spare time, Alejandra enjoys running, exploring new places, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Alejandra provides therapeutic services in both Spanish and English.
