Amanda has experience working with clients facing mood, personality, and adjustment disorders, tailoring her approach to each person’s unique life experiences and goals by integrating evidence-based techniques, focusing on building emotional resilience, fostering self-awareness, and using humor to create a relaxed, open environment for growth and healing. She also has experience working with neurodivergent teens and adults with ADHD/AuDHD. Recognizing the co-occurrence of conditions like anxiety, depression, and executive dysfunction, Amanda tailors her approach to address each client’s needs. She works collaboratively to create practical, personalized tools for time management, goal-setting, and managing distractions. Outside of therapy, Amanda enjoys TV shows, sports, gardening, reading, and spending time with her loved ones. Amanda is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University (Summa Cum Laude). She is also a National Certified Counselor™ (NCC). |
