Christine PriceChristine Melody is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee who received her BA in Psychology from California State University- East Bay. She is currently working toward an MA in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. Her clinical focus is trauma-informed CBT for those within the LGBTQ2S+ population and couples counseling. She also has a deep interest in learning EMDR and MBCT. Her previous experience is in Applied Behavioral Analysis case management and behavioral interventions for adults, children, and teens with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD/ADD, Down Syndrome, Social Anxiety Disorder, Depression, and Intellectual Disabilities.
Christine Melody enjoys reading, hiking, dancing, painting, attending concerts, learning languages, and traveling in her free time. She enjoys getting to know people and likes using a biopsychosocial perspective in her therapy interactions. She believes promoting equity and multicultural competence should be at the forefront of healing. When she completes her education at Pepperdine University, Christine plans to get a doctorate with a research focus on expanding and creating trauma-informed treatment programs for transgender and gender-expansive clients. |
