KAren HArvey Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee and Professional Clinical Counseling Trainee
Karen takes a strengths-based, collaborative approach to therapy, helping each client to connect with their inner resources and values, and co-create their goals and outcomes. She brings compassion, empathy, support, and acceptance to each therapeutic relationship. She is especially passionate about working with parents, families, teens, and those within the LGBTQ+ community, for whom she is an ally. She is also a trained brainspotting practitioner
Karen received her BA in Psychology from Pomona College and is currently completing her MA in Marriage and Family Therapy and Clinical Counseling through the University of Massachusetts Global. She comes to Hearts and Hands after working for many years as a life coach, trainer, speaker, and parent educator. In her free time, Karen enjoys visiting new places, music, camping, doing puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.
