Katelin Tanda, AMFT 127609Life is full of challenges and profound beauty. Katelin believes in the power of human connection, and prioritizing physical and mental health is essential while facing life’s difficulties—especially in the ever-changing world we live in today.
In therapy, Katelin takes on a holistic and humanistic approach with her clients, while also incorporating an eclectic view on therapy, in which she draws on multiple techniques and theoretical orientations that best suit her client’s individual needs. Katelin believes in the mind-body connection and supports clients through prioritizing physical, social, and emotional health. She promotes healthy lifestyle habits, stress and time management techniques, social skill training, self-care, and teaches positive coping tools and techniques. Katelin has also had the privilege of providing therapy services to teenagers, LGBTQ++ youth, children and teens with social/emotional/behavioral challenges, and individuals with anxiety, depression, as well as those struggling with grief. Katelin has obtained a BA degree in Psychology from UC Davis, and an MS degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Sacramento State University. In her free time, Katelin enjoys hiking, stargazing, being creative and making art, and watching Marvel movies and TV shows. |
