Born and raised in Oakland, Katie moved to the Sacramento/Roseville area in the early 1990’s. Katie knew early on that she wanted to enter a helping profession. She has been practicing in the Roseville area as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2006, and has been providing clinical supervision to Interns since 2008. Katie has enjoyed a wide range of experiences during her counseling career. She has worked with children as young as 3 and adults in their 70’s. She worked in conjunction with Victims of Crime, Child Protective Services and Juvenile & Adult Probation. Her experiences with providing therapy has reinforced the strength and resiliency of the human spirit. Awed by the healing power of counseling, Katie finds fulfillment in helping others overcome life's challenges. When not counseling or providing clinical supervision Katie loves camping, hiking, and in the past few years backpacking. She also enjoys watching baseball and amateur photography. |
