Lenny is a School Counselor and a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee. He received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from California State University, Sacramento and his master’s degree in Educational Counseling from National University, Sacramento. He is currently completing a second master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from National University, Sacramento. Lenny has been a School Counselor for six years. He has worked at the middle school level for four years and is currently in his second year as a high school counselor.
As a school counselor, Lenny has had the opportunity to work with students and families from diverse socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds. He has provided students and families with social, emotional, academic, and college and career support. As a future Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Lenny’s goal is to help individuals overcome their challenges so that they can make significant life changes. Lenny believes that he will accomplish his goal by creating a safe, respectful, and supportive therapeutic environment where individuals feel safe to explore their struggles.
In his spare time, Lenny enjoys customizing his car, playing video games, staying physically active, taking road trips, and spending time with his girlfriend and family.
