Lisa HamiltonLisa came to Hearts and Hands with many years of experience in supportive roles for both nonprofit and for-profit businesses. She takes great pride in working for a nonprofit like Hearts and Hands that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of the people it serves. As she herself has greatly benefitted from therapy services for life’s challenges, her goal as Intake Coordinator is to go above and beyond when necessary to make the process between making the first contact and getting set up with a therapist as smooth and comfortable as possible. Lisa is also a huge animal lover, an advocate for animal rights and an ally of the LGBTQ+ community. When she is not working, she loves to spend time with any one of her six uniquely wonderful children (all adults now), or her newly rescued dog, Eddie, and her senior cat, Destiny. When she finds time, some of the activities Lisa enjoys include drawing or painting, visiting art galleries and museums, reading, binge watching TV series, walking in nature, and exploring quaint old towns.
