Michaela BrodeurMarriage and Family Therapist Trainee
Michaela is a Marriage and Family Therapist and Professional Clinical Counseling Trainee whose main passion in everyday life is helping those around her feel seen, heard, appreciated, and honored. Within the therapeutic environment, she is passionate about joining with people as they move toward seeing, hearing, enjoying, and celebrating themselves. Michaela believes that every individual, couple, and family has strengths within themselves, and that, through therapy, we can work together to uncover and develop confidence in those strengths as we face life. Michaela believes that each individual is the expert of their internal and external world and is honored to join them as a guide, using their expertise to process past pain, navigate everyday life stressors, and take small steps toward the life the individual, couple, or family desires. Michaela believes that the goal is not to get rid of all negativity, because often there is negativity around us that we cannot control. Instead, she focuses on building the tools, bravery, and confidence within ourselves so that when negativity arises, our inherent strengths and developed tools, accessed through therapy, will carry us through. Michaela believes that finding simple life sources in our everyday world is a key factor in building the life we desire. She finds hers in nature, community, music, and creative expression, often spending her free time hiking, sitting beside bodies of water, connecting with her family and loved ones, listening to music, and creating meaningful art. |
