Roque NetoGrounded in empathy and cultural humility, Roque believes healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard. He partners with clients to address burnout, low motivation, anxiety, grief, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
Roque is an LGBTQIA+ affirming therapist who is passionate about supporting individuals adjusting to life in a new country and navigating the joys and challenges of such transitions. As a trainee, he is expanding his skills in evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients achieve their goals. Roque earned his Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and served as a professor and administrator in teacher preparation programs, where he discovered he most enjoyed helping students grow as human beings. He is pursuing his Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling Therapy at Palo Alto University. He speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish, and offers therapy both in-office and via telehealth. |
