Sierra WagnerAssociate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor
Everyone inevitably faces challenges in their life. Knowing this, Sierra desires to provide a safe space to navigate your personal journey. Many of life’s trials stem from relationships themselves; therefore, Sierra believes in the healing power of a positive therapeutic relationship. Her hope is to be a safe confidant; to meet you exactly where you are at and empower you to move forward healthily with support, coping skills, and boundaries. Her person-centered approach to therapy focuses on the therapeutic relationship and allows you to take an active role in treatment.
Sierra has a passion for adolescents and young adults, as well as pre-marital and newlywed couples; however, she feels honored to walk alongside anyone who may reach out for help in the different seasons of life. When she is not meeting with clients or busy at her HR job, Sierra enjoys being outside, going on adventures with her friends, and watching Netflix. Sierra graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Jessup University and graduated with high honors from Western Seminary for her master’s degree in Counseling. Sierra has also completed trainings on ABFT, EMDR, SYMBIS, and Gottman level 1. |
