Stephanie HurtadoStephanie approaches therapy the same way she approaches life - with empathy, curiosity, and genuine care. She understands that the quality of our life is often a reflection of the quality of our relationships - and this especially includes our relationships with ourselves. Therapy can be a great tool to help one understand and strengthen that understanding and connection to self. Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued.
Stephanie is especially passionate about working with families and teens to strengthen communication and understanding and credits her role as a mother in her blended family as a large influence on how she shows up as a therapist to support others. She also taught trauma informed yoga to children and teens and found her passion to pursue marriage and family therapy through this work. When Stephanie is not in sessions, she loves to hang out with her family, spend time out in the ocean surfing, yoga, RV travel, and play with her Giant Schnauzer dog. “Between the stimulus and response, there is a space. And in that space lies our freedom and power to choose our responses. In our response lies our growth and our freedom” - Victor Frankl |
