Annicka Nichols,
MFTT
Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee • she/her

Annicka is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee and approaches therapy with empathy, warmth, and compassion. She strives to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. She is passionate about helping individuals process deep-rooted trauma, recognize their strengths, and feel empowered as they work toward healing and meaningful personal growth.
She is currently pursuing a Master’s of Arts in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Sacramento State University. Her therapeutic approach is informed by psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy practices, helping clients explore how their past experiences, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors may influence their present lives.
Annicka has a special interest in grief and loss. Her personal experience with the death of her brother has deepened her understanding of the complexity of grief and inspired her passion for supporting others through their own healing journey. She is grateful to be the flashlight guiding clients to see the “light” as they navigate trauma, loss, and significant life transitions.
Outside of her professional work, Annicka enjoys being outdoors, soaking up the sunshine through paddleboarding, hiking, and yoga.
Annicka is supervised by Courtney Brain, LMFT #114283.
