Deondre Cummings is an MFT Trainee who is passionate about helping individuals navigate life transitions, emotional challenges, relationships, and personal growth. He has a special interest in exploring family dynamics and helping clients understand how past experiences and intergenerational patterns can influence their present relationships and sense of self.

Deondre provides culturally responsive, compassionate care that honors each client's unique background, values, and lived experiences. He believes that culture, family systems, and personal history all play an important role in shaping how individuals understand themselves and connect with others.

His therapeutic approach incorporates attachment-based therapy, Narrative Therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Deondre is committed to creating a safe, collaborative environment where clients can explore their experiences, develop greater self-awareness, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful change.

Before beginning his MFT training, Deondre worked in behavioral health and substance use treatment, supporting individuals experiencing addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns.
